※You can read the name of the restaurants and the hotel from the Japanese version.
Dear followers and readers, how are you? I’m TOSHI, a Japanese woman. About four and a half years I wrote about mainly food reports. I was working as a writer.
Recently, I went to Chinatown in Yokohama.
Japanese food is the best, but I like Chinese food.
There are probably two reasons. When I was younger, I had the opportunity to interact with the culture of the Greater China region, just like the nowadays Korean wave.
The other is when I was a child, my family often went out to eat at a Chinese restaurant.
The Chinese restaurant in the city hotel, which was relatively closeby, was a very delicious restaurant,
The waiter was also very freindly and I have very fond memories of it.
There was a sushi restaurant on the way there, but
when we went there after our store was closed, there were many times when the good material was already gone, so we stopped going.
The store that provides stable service in the hotel was a valuable existence.
I drank jasmine tea for the first time in my life and in got to see bottle of mysterious Chinese alcohol.
It was a precious time where we could talk slowly with everyone in our busy home.
I still remember the appearance of the female waiter who works quickly.
So, first of all, it was a chance.
This Club Rosy also writes articles introducing Japan in English, in the same way, I am doing my best to give my readers a chance with Japan.

Google translation may have improvements in accuracy compared to human translation, but I think it will be a guideline,
In any form, if you don’t mind, I would appreciate it if you could read it.
Well, in late November. First, I went to a well-established and famous restaurant.
It was the evening that day, so I could go in without having to line up. There was always a good smell outside the store.
I used to go there a lot but my first time going there. I ordered porridge with century egg.
This is delicious!
Personally, I did’t like white rice porridge, and I like to eat Japanese
Udon（うどん）noodle when I have a cold.
But the hot and gentle porridge soaked into my tired stomach.
Usually, basic Japanese rice porridge is made only with water and rice, so I want to add some kind of soup flavor.
I want to eat this anytime. I love century egg but it’s been three years since I ate one.
I couldn’t buy it locally in Japan.
I didn’t know rice porridge could taste so good!
Anyway, after eating this and resting at the hotel I stayed, my body was warm.
My appetite started to grow, and I started eating well!
The next place I went to this restaurant, which I happened to pass by.
This Taiwanese-style noodle was really delicious.
That evening I could finally get to eat the famous Shanghai crab! It’s the first time in my life.
Moreover, male and female eating comparison.
I live in a rural area, so these seasonal ingredients are rare,
I didn’t get a chance to eat them.
There are plenty of ingredients like this around Chinatown.
I didn’t think it would be this delicious! It was a feast!!
Moreover, I found this meal at a Hotel, which is located in a hotel adjacent to Chinatown.
I actually stayed at this hotel, and I really liked the retro, and exotic feeling.
Yokohama port is near, so you can hear the sounds of the steam whistles.
Before covid I also traveled from that port. There were many things I recalled.
It was a wonderful excursion filled with exotic and multicultural dreams.
Helpful feedback is always welcome!
