A VIP’s kind heart and a pretty amazing happening

Hello everyone, I’m TOSHI, a Japanese woman.

I went to a dance party. And I had a great time dancing.

There was a very important guest at the party.

I won’t go into details, but he was a Western man living in Japan, and a VIP involved in politics and national culture.

But he was very kind and danced with me. The dance organizer kindly pulled me aside a little later, saying that if I wanted to dance with the VIP person, next time I should choose an easier song.

It’s great to have this experience, and to dance, where you can interact and communicate even if you don’t speak the same language. I want to get better at dancing so I can have more of these kinds of experiences.

The dance party there always had a peaceful atmosphere, and the organizer and the guests seemed to get along well, but the guest forgot his smartphone. I was shocked.

But fortunately, the organizer contacted him immediately, and it was returned safely to its owner.

I thought it was amazing that Japan is a place where nothing happens.

Maybe you get used to it if you live in Japan for a long time.

If you leave your smartphone in a Japanese taxi, and if you were lucky and the driver might return it to you. Recently, a driver returned a Korean person’s forgotten smartphone to its owner. But of course, there are cases where it’s never returned or when it’s misplaced, and even if it isn’t, it can be a nuisance and dangerous, so please be careful.
