Sandwich slices of green Shiso（Blue perilla）, alternating between slices of cheese.

Once it’s thick enough, cut it with a knife and eat it as is or with wasabi soy sauce.

Use the cheap cheese you can find at convenience stores or supermarkets. That kind of cheese has its own unique uses and flavors.

Use a decent soy sauce if possible. You can also grate fresh wasabi sometimes.

The wasabi soy sauce is my own twist, but serval decades ago while eating out at stylish restaurant in Tokyo my friend and I were served this dish which inspired my future cultinary creation. If you present it well you could even serve it to customers.

I think this food has a unique Japanese infused and inspired taste to it.
