Hello readers. How are you? I’m not fine today at all. With the weather the way it is, I’m feeling annoyed and may even hate the world now ! This is a joke, but it’s hot. It’s hot, it’s hot, especially lately in Japan, it’s really hot. It’s melting hot and unbearably humid.
Some people like that weather, but personally, it doesn’t suit me. My constitution and I don’t really care for the cold. I don’t mind it in a vacuum, but I’ve also had heat stroke in the past.
To me, summer humidity is like thick clothes that can’t be taken off, no matter how uncomfortable I feel. Yesterday, around 12 o’clock, I noticed that I had been standing in front of the air conditioner like a donkey l for almost an hour.
But there is also fun to be had only in the summer. Japanese people try to enjoy each of the four seasons.
I like cooled room with the air conditioning, and look outside to enjoy the summer. For example, the clear skies, the sea, and people on the street in summer clothes, with a iced coffee.
If I’m lucky, I’ll be able to see a woman in a summer kimono with an elegant folding fan. I also like kimono, and I have kimonos for summer, but I haven’t worn it recently. Because it’s hot.
Summer kimonos are a little transparent and look very cool and beautiful, but they aren’t really that cool because you should wear a lot of underwear.
Kimono covers almost the whole body, so it is difficult to maintain it after sweating. Especially for silk. Recently, there are some well-made polyester kimonos that can be washed, but in my experience, it’s still hot.
But I always like to see it. And I want to thank the people who showed me beautiful fashion even though it was so hot. I don’t think Japanese people talk to strangers very much. But if the person seems to be friendly, sometimes I may smile or say, “It’s very nice!” Because when I was told, I was very happy with the compliment.
Recently, I’ve been enthusiastic about the art of placing flowers in a glass with ice water.
Finding ways to endure an especially hot summer is unexpectedly fun.
One of Japan’s favorite ways to “beat the heat” is to tell a scary story.
To feel cooler, telling horror stories, watching scary movies, and visiting haunted houses are Japanese traditional activities in summer.
But in a haunted house, sometimes your boyfriend will run away without you so it can be a problem.
Hold onto his hand tightly so he can’t run away!
