If you ask me, the climate is a little strange these days. Although it’s hot in the summer, it’s snowing more than ever this year. Recently, the wind smells like snow, and it’s starting to smell like spring. It’s strange. We need to be mindful of our environment.

In the last few years, after the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, I have come to think of the arrival of spring as the most beautiful time of the year.

I used to like the cool and cold seasons the most, but now the days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the beautiful flowers are blooming. It’s as if everyday life is at it’s best stage.

After being patient through the winter cold, they bloom brilliantly and scatter all over, leaving the past behind without regret. It is said that such flowers may have been in line with the Japanese aesthetic sense.

However, did you know that there are actually several types of cherry blossoms?

I like weeping cherry blossoms the most.

The branches of the weeping cherry blossoms in full bloom are like a group of beautiful dancers. It is gorgeous, elegant, and it heals my heart.

The cherry blossoms haven’t bloomed in my town yet, but I saw plum blossoms the other day.

The gods give these flowers a fleeting, temporary beauty, and it fills me with the emotion, joy, and sadness that I want to feel forever. Still, it was so beautiful that it healed me while still feeling a sense of sadness.

After spending more time at home during the Coronavirus pandemic, I started decorating my home with flowers. And I really like those flowers. I said to them;

“Thank you, Ms. Flower. You were very beautiful.”

After that, I wrapped it in white paper and threw it away, but gradually I began to wonder if this was all right, enough. An important life that flowers have lived so for such a short time.

Gods give the life of a flower, which they  only have once in an eternity, like other life.
