■Laos【Pedophilia, 140 Children】 Japanese Pedophiles Arrested

Two Japanese men have been arrested. They are believed to have engaged in repeated child prostitution in Southeast Asia.

Both are in their 60s.

They are alleged to have filmed themselves engaging in lewd acts with local girls under the age of 18 in Laos and Myanmar.

One of the men is believed to have kept notes of 140 sexual encounters with local girls under the age of 18, the youngest of whom was 9 years old.

■Japanese Pedophiles: Laos is their “Last Paradise”

Japanese pedophiles who engage in child prostitution in Laos have become a problem.

There are “child prostitution tours,” that they participate in it, even though it is illegal.

They apparently gather on social media and in restaurants to brag about buying children, exchange information, and buy and sell videos.

Unfortunately, there are many pedophilic men in Japan.

Some men openly declare that “Pedophilia in Japan is a culture.”

For example, I feel depressed when I see a father posting swimsuit photos of his 13-year-old daughters on social media accounts that are followed by many adult men.

They say Laos is a “Pedophile mecca” and “The last paradise.” It’s horrifying.

Pedophiles say they love children and what they do is helping them.

But even so, do they have anything in common with such children? Do they have same topic of the conversation with them?

If they were in a fulfilling relationship with a woman of a similar age, they wouldn’t travel to faraway Laos and sexually abuse a 9-year-old.

Pedophiles cannot love others. They are only capable of imposing their emotions.

Because they encounter resistance when they do this to adults, they target children who are in no position to resist, and repeatedly use violence against them.

■Japanese women who try to guard children from prostitution in Laos

Risako Hata, a Japanese woman, infiltrated a hotel in Laos where child prostitution is taking place and wrote this article (in Japanese).

Ayako Iwatake, a Japanese woman living in Laos, collected signatures calling for an end to the disease. Her actions spurred the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to action.
